Multi-Day Journey

From Algarve to Porto

From the Algarve Coast to the Douro Valley: A Complete Portugal Journey

Portugal from north to south and back again, in one flexible private journey. Starting in Porto or Lisbon, you travel through the Douro Valley and central Portugal down to the Algarve's sea caves and golden cliffs, then return through the Alentejo and Sintra to finish in Lisbon. It is our most complete route, and it feels less like a tour and more like travelling with a Portuguese friend.

Tour includes

  • Exclusive local guide and driver
  • Comfortable private transport
  • Wi-Fi and bottled water on board
  • Insurance, taxes and driver expenses

Day 5 – Fátima, Batalha and Óbidos. Visit the Sanctuary of Fátima, the Gothic Monastery of Batalha, and the medieval walled village of Óbidos.

Day 6 – South to the Algarve. Travel south to the Algarve coast, settling in for an easy evening by the sea.

Day 9 – Sintra and Cascais. Visit the Pena Palace and Quinta da Regaleira, Cabo da Roca and the seaside town of Cascais.

Day 10 – Lisbon and farewell. A final day in Lisbon: Belém’s Jerónimos Monastery and Belém Tower, then Baixa and Alfama, before your departure.

Shorter (8 days): Combine Fátima/Batalha/Óbidos into one focused day and skip Coimbra. Longer (12 days): Add a second Algarve day with beach time, and a night at a quinta in the Douro.
